• Experience in process piping, carpentry and/or concrete is especially valuable for Craftsman level candidates

Reporting directly to the Project Superintendent, you'll work alongside the field team to help safely and efficiently build Velocity's water and wastewater projects. Depending on your experience and project needs, your work may include operating and maintaining construction equipment; preparing jobsites; loading and unloading materials; assisting skilled craft workers; assembling and dismantling temporary structures; and supporting excavation, back filling and compaction activities.

Experienced Craftsmen may also work more independently and apply established skills in areas such as process piping, carpentry and concrete to complete assigned construction activities.

Every member of the crew is expected to maintain a clean and safe jobsite, follow established safety procedures, communicate with the Superintendent and other crew members, and pitch in wherever needed to help the project succeed.

This is an active construction position and requires the ability to perform strenuous physical work, lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds, navigate ladders, stairs and steep slopes, and work outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions.

Some travel may be required depending on project location, but our crews are home on weekends and holidays. Project locations vary. Travel and overnight stays may be required based on project assignments.

Full-Time | Non-Exempt $25-$33 per hour DOE
Field-Based | Project Locations Vary
