Position: Service Advisor with Experience

John Elway Chevrolet is looking for a personable experienced Service Advisor to act as a liaison between our clients and service technicians. Responsibilities
  • Perform “walk-a-round” with client at the time of arrival for service
  • Determine guest’s primary concern and review additional maintenance
  • Provide in depth information about parts and service options
  • Produce repair orders for guests including cost and time estimates with full transparency
  • Offer transportation options at the time of service
  • Follow up the guest on the status of their vehicle throughout the service visit
  • Maintain high customer service and satisfaction to dealership standards as measured by surveys from different sources.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all services provided
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with windows, ADP/CDK
  • Ability to work with various extended warranty and fleet-pay companies
  • Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Write simple correspondence
  • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Use computers, preferably in a PC, Windows-based operating environment
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to multitask, phone, computer, and live person in front of you Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
