Guest Experience Specialist

As the first and last impression our guests have, the Guest Experience Specialist plays a critical role in the Signature Aviation experience. In this highly visible, hospitality‑driven role you warmly welcome guests and crew members with professionalism, care, and a genuine commitment to creating exceptional moments.

Whether you greet a VIP traveler, support a flight crew, or coordinate services behind the scenes, you bring grace under pressure and attention to detail, ensuring every visit is smooth, comfortable, and memorable. This dynamic, hands‑on position requires flexibility to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to operate in both indoor and outdoor environments, often near active aircraft and ground service equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet guests and crews as they arrive and escort them to the front entrance, aircraft, or vehicles.
  • Collaborate closely with all team members, guests, and other visitors to ensure services are handled promptly, accurately, and courteously, coordinating information flow among the private aviation terminal (PAT), departments, and external parties.
  • Accurately receive, dispatch, and process guest purchases and fuel transactions, and assist with general accounting work as needed.
  • Provide concierge services, arranging reservations for hotels, ground transportation, rentals, catering, and customs appointments.
  • Manage inquiries, resolve requests, handle billing disputes, and address concerns efficiently.
  • Maintain knowledge of Signature services, website, surrounding areas, and common guest questions.
  • Monitor flight schedules and communicate with aircraft to coordinate services, using SIGops/SIGnet to log and schedule requests, prioritize them, and supervise flow.
  • Maintain and stock amenities; keep lobby, pilot‑facing spaces, and restrooms clean.
  • Promote and sell Company services and products to passengers and crew.
  • Assist crews and guests with luggage, provide transportation to commercial terminals, hotels, or other locations, and fulfill special requests.
  • Assist pilots with access to weather information, portals, and computers.
  • Identify crew, passengers, visitors, and vendors following security procedures.
  • Stop work if an unsafe condition or act is likely to cause harm and report concerns to management.
  • Follow emergency response procedures during critical events.
  • Understand and enforce all Signature and airport security protocols.
  • Create accurate records of time worked and services performed.
  • Use the Company contact management system to capture and update customer preferences for personalized service.
  • Assist the Airside Experience team to ensure guests receive an exceptional experience, including services such as valeting, wing walking, placing chocks and cones, and positioning stairs/jetways.
  • Assist airlines with passenger service functions when required.
Qualifications
  • Must hold a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • At least one year of customer‑experience related work in retail, hospitality, or sales (preferred).
  • Mandatory possession of a valid state driver’s license.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to pass mandatory background checks, drug tests, and meet airport security badge requirements; must be insurable under Company policies.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the jurisdiction of employment.
  • Must exercise good judgment and follow instructions from supervisor or management.
  • Preference for drivers who can operate standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
Essential Knowledge and Skills
  • Hospitality:
    Excellent guest‑service skills, energetic, outgoing, guest‑obsessed; must anticipate needs, prioritize requests, multitask in fast‑paced environment; must maintain professionalism, confidentiality, conflict resolution experience preferred.
