🔍 About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Program Project Manager to lead complex construction and utility infrastructure programs. This role will manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously, partnering with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to drive successful execution from planning through closeout.
Construction Project Management- Lead cross-functional teams delivering substation, transmission line, and telecommunication projects
- Manage 5–20 concurrent projects ranging from $100K to $50M+ and 4kV–765kV
- Ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, budget, and in-service dates
- Navigate client gate approval processes and present updates to senior/executive leadership
- Maintain accurate cost forecasts and estimates-at-completion
- Coordinate construction, testing, and field activities with approved vendors
- Facilitate and lead project meetings across engineering, construction, environmental, real estate, and public engagement teams
- Provide consistent project reporting and client communications
- Develop and manage multi-year capital expenditure plans for transmission & distribution assets
- Align projects with client investment targets and avoid scope duplication
- Review engineering estimates, change requests, and long-range portfolio impacts
- Support rate filing documentation and federal/state filings
- Partner with accounting to establish project financial setups
- Build baseline scopes, schedules, and budgets for stakeholder release
- Develop construction life cycles with a focus on outage efficiency and constructability
- Conduct site walkdowns and project coordination calls
- Analyze outage requirements and adjacent outage impacts
- Create and communicate construction sequencing plans
- Coordinate with drafting teams to produce engineering-grade drawings documenting project evolution
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering
, or related field and 7+ years of relevant construction project management experience - OR equivalent applicable experience in lieu of degree
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage high workloads in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Ability to meet company driving requirements
- Experience on construction project sites or program management within:
- Utilities (Transmission & Distribution)
- Aviation, Commercial, Energy
- Government, Manufacturing
- Oil & Gas, Process, Transportation, or Water sectors
- Familiarity with document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software
