As an integral business unit of Shea Properties Management Company, Inc, Tech Center Maintenance (TCM) operates and maintains a variety of utility assets for the growing Meridian Metropolitan District and other special districts in Colorado that include water, wastewater, reclaimed irrigation and fiber network utilities. In addition, TCM provides full‑scale landscape maintenance services for various commercial properties in the general vicinity of the Denver Technological Center and Meridian International Business Center.
The pay range for this position is $43.00 – $60.00/hour and the SCADA and EIC Manager is also eligible to participate in the on‑call program and the annual discretionary bonus plan. The SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and EIC (Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls) Manager is responsible for directing, maintaining, and upgrading the SCADA and EIC processes and managing the team. The Manager is actively engaged in development of the enterprise systems that relate to the utility operations in the following areas and systems:
This position requires the SCADA and EIC Manager to be available for 24‑hour‑a‑day emergency response. Job Duties· Manage and maintain SCADA networks that control water, wastewater and reclaimed irrigation systems, including these main components:
Three (3) water treatment & pumping facilities, One (1) wastewater treatment plant, irrigation pumping facilities, raw water supply wells, interconnections, and eight (8) sanitary sewer lift stations.· Support the management and maintenance of all electrical systems that are integral to the district’s infrastructure.
· Hire and train team members to execute job responsibilities in a safe and rewarding manner.
· Manage PLC performance monitoring, maintenance and upgrades.

· Torian maintenance and upkeep.
· Conduct SCADA data analysis for operations support and SCADA-related software interface.
· Oversee PLC, radio and dialer communication between sites.
· Research, propose and implement value‑added upgrades.
· Respond to or manage emergency callouts for critical SCADA and EIC related failures.
· Maintain required records related to the utility data systems.
· Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and annual data reports to support operational decision making and recommend operational improvements.
· Perform work in confined spaces when needed to access control system and electrical components.
· Manage SCADA related projects and capital improvements and collaborate with design consultants, integrators and contractors including management of budget, schedule and scope.
· Assists with the implementation of SCADA master plans, risk and resilience plans, cyber security plans and other long‑term strategies.
· Performs other duties, as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, instrumentation control, or other related field, preferred.
- At least 8 years of progressively responsible experience in SCADA and EI&c management
