Description:

Join the Lockheed Martin team in support of the US Navy's Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) D5 Life Extension (D5LE) Avionics/Test Missile Kit (TMK) Engineering.

Location:

This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in:
Titusville FL and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.

What does this role look like?

We are looking for a highly motivated Electronics Engineer Associate Manager to become a member of the Missile Systems Engineering & Integration Team, supporting the US Navy's Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) D5 Life Extension (D5LE) Avionics/Test Missile Kit (TMK) Engineering.

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

* Communicate technical status and issues internally to program leadership, technical leadership and functional leadership as well as externally to the customer.

* Conducting personnel management for a portion of the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Electronics team

* Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training.

* Responsible for performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

* Manages the research, design, development, and testing of a variety of electronic equipment and systems.

* Manages failure Investigation and material disposition on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, and System Level),

* Participate in technical reviews and audits.

In this role:

* 8+ years of professional experience for this role.

* Be willing and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

* Demonstrated experience in managing or designing electronics hardware.

* Demonstrated experience with the production and test of electronics hardware.

* Experience or willingness to lead teams through challenging engineering and/or programmatic issues.

Desired

Skills:

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Excellent teaming, communication, and leadership skills

* Master of Science (MS) or Higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

* Ability to balance cost, schedule and risk in decision making

* Experience guiding the successful completion of significant projects and/or multi-discipline team efforts by applying technical knowledge and leadership skills

* Excellent interpersonal skills with peers, superiors, subordinates, and customers

* Experience in missile design, development, and testing

* Demonstrated experience in program execution in development programs

* Demonstrated experience managing subcontractor flight hardware development

* Demonstrated experience working directly with government customers on requirements definition, planning, avionics integration/operations and performance briefings

* Demonstrated experience managing engineering personnel development and performance assessment.

Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
