Electrical​/Test Engineer II

The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) team.

Littleton, Colorado. The position is on-site (no teleworking).

Flexible 9x80 schedule with up to 25% travel to alternate work sites.

• Participate in requirements analysis, configuration determination, design, alterations, material procurement, manufacturing, test and acceptance for a wide variety of electrical and electromechanical test systems and multifunction integrated test equipment in support of the US Navy’s Ballistic Missile Flight Test Program.
• Mentor Junior engineers, interface extensively with customers and senior leadership.
• Create/update project/process documentation that align to project requirements.

• Lead the design, procurement, assembly, test and verification of automated test systems, including data review and trending.
• Develop hardware requirements from subsystem to all locally assigned support equipment test systems.
• Interface with suppliers, customers and internal design teams to provide cost‑effective and low‑risk solutions.
• Develop test system design documentation to communicate proposed designs to internal design and business teams, vendors and customers.
• Have experience in a programming language relevant for quick‑turn applications (LabVIEW, Test Stand, Python, C#, etc).
• Support, as required, Failure Review Board activities through closure.
• Ability to travel and work at alternate work sites as required, less than 25%.

• 1+ years professional experience.
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; US Citizenship is required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Hardware development experience.
• Strong technical background with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or other similar systems.
• Experience in one or more of the following:
  Creo, Windchill, Zuken, PSPICE.
• Experience in one or more of the following:
  LabVIEW, Test Stand, Python, C#.
• Will obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; US Citizenship is required.

• Experience leading project teams and development efforts.
• Experience with product life cycle (development, deployment, retirement).
• Issue Tracking experience.
• Must be able to work autonomously and drive items to closure.
• Capability to lead a team responsible for development and test of integrated test systems; experience as Subject Matter Engineer or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to lead/coordinate with small diverse teams in development of tech products.
• Experience reading schematic diagrams and other technical documentation.
• Experience troubleshooting.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

This position requires a Secret clearance. Candidates must be US citizens.

Annual base salary range: $70,100 - $123,625 (varies by location).
