As a part of the FBM team, we can build, replenish, & modernize this crucial national asset with today's tools & technology to benefit the world, the nation, our states, and our communities!
This role will offer you the following daily challenges:
Join us as a Project Engineer for the FBM D5LE2 program where you will lead the strategic planning for Avionics, reporting to the Avionics Modernization Senior Program Manager.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
* Support program Cost Model and Strategic Planning efforts.
* Coordinate all inputs for Missile Strategic Planning (MSP) teams.
* Serve as main Avionics point of contact for all program 'What-ifs.'
This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work:
Denver, Colorado
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of professional experience or equivalent education/experience.
* Prior professional project engineering experience.
* Government proposal experience.
* You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance; thus a US Citizen.
Desired
Skills:
* Bachelor's degree (engineering field or technical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience/combined education
* Prior Program Management experience
* FBM program experience
* Electronics Design and Manufacturing experience
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
