Fleet Ballistic Missiles  FBM  is one of Lockheed Martin's outstanding Lines of Businesses that prioritizes partnership, integrity, and reliability  The Life Extension 2  LE2  team is an organization within the greater FBM program which supports the development of the next generation system by developing concepts, researching, and maturing technologies to support the development of the next FBM Missile System

The Controls group is an organization within FBM that is responsible for the design and production support of the systems that control the missile both before and after boost  This position is for an Execution Lead in a Post Boost Control System  PBCS  hardware IPT that both collaborates well in a team environment and has excellent communication skills  As the Execution Lead you will be responsible for integrating technical, cost, and schedule data to keep mission critical milestones and hardware deliveries on track  Your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborate with engineering, program management, and suppliers to resolve issues and drive day to day execution

- Develop and manage detailed project plans while supporting Control Account Management

- Report progress, issues, and achievements to IPT Lead and Management

- Work cross functionally to develop proposal deliverables such as but not limited to scoping documents, fact finding presentations, and basis of estimates

- Identify risk, issues, and opportunities and implement approved risk handling plans

- Support other duties as assigned by IPT Lead including execution of project management duties across IPT

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* - Bachelor's degree in Engineering from accredited college or related discipline or equivalent experience

- Experience leading projects, teams, and/or development efforts

- Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope

- Experience with Earned Value Management  EVM  or equivalent

- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance

** Desired

Skills:

* - Missile and/or aerospace related education or experience

- Experience with FBM processes and products

- Experience with product life cycle  development, deployment, retirement

- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple high priority tasks

- Experience with resource estimation & management, component development estimation, project planning, and project management

- Experience in proposal development:
Basis of Estimate  BOE , Rough Order of Magnitude  ROM , & Statement of Work  SOW  generation

- Experience with Integrated Master Schedule  IMS  initial drafting and baselining
