Job Description & How to Apply Below
We are rapidly expanding in the Denver, Colorado area!
Ramon.
Space is making the final frontier possible by accelerating the future of space computing by bringing resilient, Earth-like digital infrastructure to orbit. Our cutting-edge, software-defined technology equips satellites with advanced storage, processing, and connectivity capabilities - powering smart, efficient, and fully adaptable missions across communications, 5G NTN, earth observation, and space-based data centers.
As we scale our U.S. presence, we're deepening our work with both commercial operators and U.S. government partners who are driving the next generation of space innovation. From mission-critical national security applications to high-growth commercial constellations, our proven computing platforms deliver the performance, reliability, and flexibility needed to unlock new capability in orbit. Selected by the world's leading satellite operators, Ramon.
Space is defining how the industry builds, deploys, and evolves digital missions in space.
We are a global team of 100+ employees across the US, United Kingdom, and Israel. If you are looking to make an impact, come and join our team.
We are looking for a talented candidate to lead our US Operations and Mission Assurance organization and to establish and scale the U.S. operating model for high-reliability space hardware programs. This foundational leadership role will connect the operations department across product assurance, quality systems, supply chain operations, configuration management, materials planning, supplier/CEM execution, and manufacturing/test readiness into a practical operating system for the U.S. site.
The ideal candidate brings strong aerospace or high-reliability hardware experience, cross-functional leadership capability, and the judgment to build scalable processes without unnecessary bureaucracy.
What you will be doing
* Build and lead the U.S. Operations function, including our Infrastructure, Product/Mission Assurance, Program Quality, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain Operations, Materials Planning, and Configuration/Document Control.
* Establish the U.S. operating cadence, review gates, KPIs, ownership model, and escalation paths needed to support predictable program execution.
* Oversee Mission and Product Assurance execution for U.S. programs, including PA Plan implementation, customer PA interface, audits, program reviews, assurance deliverables, and milestone readiness.
* Lead the operations roadmap for CEM onboarding, supplier qualification, MRP/ERP/PLM improvement, AS9100 readiness, configuration management, facilities, and product integration/test capability.
* Partner closely with Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, Quality, and global site leadership to align requirements, BOM maturity, procurement readiness, manufacturing readiness, and test readiness.
* Develop a phased staffing and capability plan for the U.S. site, including the roles, processes, and outside specialist support required to scale sustainably.
* Manage operating risks across suppliers, contract manufacturers, long-lead materials, configuration control, quality performance, and customer-facing assurance commitments.
* Brief U.S. site leadership and global executives on operations health, roadmap execution, staffing needs, supplier/CEM performance, program risks, and required decisions.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, operations, supply chain, or a related technical discipline.
* 12+ years of aerospace, defense, space, electronics manufacturing, or other high-reliability hardware experience.
* Senior leadership experience in Product Assurance, Quality, Mission Assurance, Operations, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing functions, preferably in a growing or multi-site technical organization.
* Working knowledge of AS9100 and relevant aerospace, defense, space, and electronics manufacturing standards such as ECSS, NASA, MIL-STD, IPC, or equivalent customer requirements.
* Demonstrated ability to build or improve operating systems, cross-functional review cadences, accountability models, and execution processes in complex hardware…
