As a Systems Engineer for Requirements and Verification on the FBM Life Extension 2 (LE2) program, you will develop and manage system level requirements, coordinate verification activities, organize expert evidence creation, facilitate subsystem reviews, and mentor early career staff.
Responsibilities- Develop, analyze, verify system level requirements and document & manage accordingly.
- Coordinate with customer and other contractors to implement verification analyses and tests.
- Organize/coordinate domain expert objective evidence creation and documentation.
- Organize/coordinate subsystem level technical reviews.
- Mentor the team and provide guidance to early career staff.
- Proficiency in Systems Engineering.
- Experience in Mechanical Engineering.
- Demonstrated capability in requirements and verification, including requirement engineering, requirements management and/or verification.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Experience with generation of technical data products.
- Experience with DOORS or other requirement management tools.
- MS Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and/or Project.
- Experience with, or on, the FBM program, working with the Navy, or submarine exposure is highly desired.
- Self-starter, able to complete work without appreciable direction.
- Highly effective communication skills, including ability to explain complex concepts, lead reviews, and/or negotiate requirements.
Top Secret. This position requires a US citizenship and a government security clearance.
