The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program is seeking a Test Missile Integrator to support Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) for the Trident II Fleet Ballistic Missile on the D5 Life Extension 2 (D5LE2) Program. The SEIT team oversees interface definitions, plans and executes verification processes, and supports D5LE2 development under the FBM Program. The D5LE2 Test Missile Integrator will integrate between key Program stakeholders and support the D5LE2 Test Missile Responsible Systems Engineer (RSE) during Test Missile design, integration, testing, and development flight test operations.
As a Test Missile Integrator on the FBM D5LE2 program, you will:
- Support critical design reviews, test plans, and flight test execution; assess test data and support corrective actions
- Integrates between stakeholders such as Missile, Test Missile Kit 2 (TMK2), Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE), Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE), and Facilities to support readiness for execution of the X-Flight Program
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives, including incorporation of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices
- Support the verification and validation of Test Missile requirements in alignment with program milestones and Navy customer requirements
- Support trade studies and technology assessments such as for new materials and architecture concepts
- Prepare technical reports, risk registers, and status updates for senior leadership, external stakeholders, and customers
- Supports Integration efforts into Strategic Weapon Facility operations and capabilities to support new fleet deployments including Columbia and Dreadnought class SSBNs
Desired skills:
- Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment across various sites
- Experience collaborating with peers, management, suppliers, Co-Primes, and customers
- Experience in presentations and in written communication skills
- Adaptable to new situations and demonstrate self-initiative in solving complex problems
- Systems Architecture and Modeling experience using MBSE tools (SysML, Cameo Systems Modeler, etc.)
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Processes and Procedures
- Experience working within the FBM program
- Demonstrated strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment and to build consensus among peers and effective relationships with team members
- Experience integrating various subsystems and components to meet system requirements
This position requires an Active Secret Clearance to start and must be able to obtain a Final Secret Clearance: US Citizenship required
