Location:

This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Titusville FL and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.

What does this role look like? We are looking for a highly motivated Electronics Engineer Associate Manager to become a member of the Missile Systems Engineering & Integration Team, supporting the US Navy's Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) D5 Life Extension (D5LE) Avionics/Test Missile Kit (TMK) Engineering. Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

• Communicate technical status and issues internally to program leadership, technical leadership and functional leadership as well as externally to the customer.
• Conducting personnel management for a portion of the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Electronics team
• Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training.
• Responsible for performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
• Manages the research, design, development, and testing of a variety of electronic equipment and systems.
• Manages failure Investigation and material disposition on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, and System Level)
• Participate in technical reviews and audits.

In this role:

• 8+ years of professional experience for this role.
• Be willing and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.

• Experience in missile design, development, and testing
• Demonstrated experience in program execution in development programs

• Demonstrated experience working directly with government customers on requirements definition, planning, avionics integration/operations and performance briefings
• Demonstrated experience managing engineering personnel development and performance assessment.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
