Role Overview

Join us as a Project Engineer for the FBM program where you will be involved in planning and executing avionics work scope and program execution.

Key Activities and Responsibilities
  • Ensure that projects meet cost, schedule, and technical objectives, following established procedures and work plans.
  • Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within the area of assigned responsibility.
  • Ensure engineering is coordinated across program and suppliers.
Typical Minimums for This Role
  • 5+ years of professional experience for this role.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Experience in project management principals (Cost/Schedule/Technical).
  • Experience leading, building a supportive and team oriented culture and driving to tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of program lifecycle and how early achievements may drive future costs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule and technical scope.
  • Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change.
  • Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment).
  • Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering.
  • Experience in Business Rhythm creation and management.
  • Excellent presentation abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
