Senior Structural Engineer

Opportunity

Tetra Tech Rooney, a business unit of Tetra Tech Inc., is seeking a Structural Engineer to work in Englewood, CO;
Billings, MT; or Casper, WY.

This position provides engineering support for pipeline, compressor station, pump stations, meter facilities, and other Tetra Tech units involved in power stations, data centers, and terminal/tank projects nationwide. The successful candidate will bring design engineering and technical expertise to a team of established consultants.

• B.S. in an ABET accredited Civil Engineering program with 5-10 years of relevant structural engineering experience (NCEES record preferred).
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• NCEES PE SE qualifications are desirable but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of the midstream oil & gas industry preferred.
• Experience in civil/structural engineering design, analysis, and development of scope of work documents.
• Ability to apply civil/structural engineering knowledge and techniques to industrial capital projects.
• Pre‑employment drug screening in compliance with state regulations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

$100k to $150k. Tetra Tech considers education, experience, skills, location, certifications, and other competencies.

• Constantly required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach.
• Constant use of hands to keyboard, handle materials, or manipulate objects.
• Light work lifting up to 20 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently move about to accomplish tasks.
• Requires close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Clear speech and hearing required.
• Requires composure and ability to prioritize several urgent tasks simultaneously.
• Occasionally climbs stairs and ladders to read meters at active oil & gas sites.

Primarily indoor office; may involve extreme temperatures, fumes, variable weather, outdoor work, and noise due to travel and site work.
