Project Scheduler
A Project Scheduler is needed in Englewood, CO to assist with engineering and equipment supply projects by developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules throughout the project lifecycle. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and in accordance with contractual requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with critical path scheduling, and the ability to collaborate with different departments to keep projects on track.
KeyDuties
- Establish realistic schedules and monitor progress.
- Analyze schedule performance and provide progress reports.
- Coordinate scheduling activities across multiple departments.
- Prepare routine scheduling reports and project documentation.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred.
- Two (2) to five (5) years of project scheduling experience.
- Experience in engineering, construction, or heavy equipment projects preferred.
- Knowledge of mining and/or bulk material handling projects desirable.
- Primavera P6 (advanced proficiency required)
- Microsoft Project
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling
- Resource-loaded project schedules
- Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- Schedule forecasting and progress analysis
- Schedule baseline management
- Project reporting and documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with various teams.
- Comfortable handling confidential information with professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal skills with positive working relationships.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Engineering design or industrial project environments.
- Mining or heavy industrial facilities.
- Resource planning and schedule performance reporting.
- Schedule risk analysis and recovery planning.
Compensation: Expected starting salary of $85,000 (negotiable based on experience) annually.
