As a Mechanical Drafter
, you’ll work alongside our Engineering team to create detailed mechanical drawings that support real-world aircraft modification and manufacturing projects. It’s a great opportunity to grow your aviation experience and see your work go from drawing to finished aircraft.

Salary Range: $27.50 – $33.66 Hourly
Actual compensation is based on relevant experience, education, technical expertise, certifications, and overall qualifications. This position is also eligible for Air Methods’ comprehensive employee benefits package.

• Drafts mechanical drawings to facilitate installation in aircraft according to FAA Regulations and MIL specifications
• Provides technical support to the Mechanical Design Engineer/Project Engineer with respect to project deliverables, cost estimates with adherence to schedule and providing overall project status.
• The Mechanical Drafter will support design modifications, Engineering Change Orders, general analysis, hardware testing and prototype development and supports design reviews and meetings if required.
• Consults with aircraft/vendor’s product service representatives to resolve problems
• Assists on installation activities, planning installation/repair modification data in drawing packages; modifies existing off-the shelf products to comply to company needs and produce documentation of modifications
• Check mechanical drawings generated by other Drafters
• Other Duties as assigned.
