In this entry-level role, you'll work closely with senior engineering mentors to design, build, and refine next-generation foot and ankle medical devices. Step into a role where your work actively improves lives while you sharpen your technical skills.
This position requires onsite presence at our Englewood, Colorado location.
How You'll Create ImpactParticipate in product development from ideation to commercialization through entire product life cycle with guidance from senior engineering staff including:
- Research and evaluate competitive product for performance characteristics
- Participate in conceptualizing new design ideas
- Assist with creating design control documentation for P28 design history files & technical files
- Assist in development of testing protocols and assist in the testing process for new and existing products
- Participate in activities related to project phase gate design reviews
- Assist with 3rd party suppliers, contractors, testing houses, etc.
- Develop Solid Works skillset for parametric modeling and detailing designs of P28 implants and instruments
Assist in inspection of current and newly developed medical devices
Observe surgery (live, cadaver, or video) on lower extremity pathology. Document all notes.

Your BackgroundRequires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related engineering discipline with 0-3 years of experience.
Prior experience in medical device development helpful.
Familiarity with CAD. Solid Works preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office
Effective communication and presentation skills with ability to convey information and respond to questions from groups of peers
Ability to work in a team environment
Travel Expectations10% of overnight travel
Compensation DataBase Salary: $47,000-$75,000 USD Annually, depending on skills and experience
