We want you to support the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program by joining the Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) team as a Systems Engineer Staff
. The Embedded System Engineering team handles all Component level requirements for the Trident II ballistic missile (commonly known as the D5LE and D5LE2 missile), oversees interface definitions, plans and executes verification processes, and has fingers in every development project under the FBM Program.
- Develop/analyze/verify component level requirements and document/manage accordingly.
- Coordinate with the customer and other organizations to implement verification analyses and tests.
- Organize/coordinate objective evidence creation and documentation.
- Organize/coordinate component level technical reviews.
- Prepare, review and present data products for technical reviews.
- Mentor the team and provide guidance to early career staff.
- Meet all the Basic Qualifications
- Have an Active Secret Clearance prior to start
- Have at least 5 years of professional work experience
The information below reflects the standard job description for this position:
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
