Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description

The client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a fast-paced corporate FP&A role. This position will focus on key projects within the Corporate FP&A team to enhance reporting, improve financial processes, and create governance. The role offers opportunities to make significant contributions as the business transitions from a build to run state, ensuring efficient and effective business and financial functions.

A successful candidate will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and provide financial oversight for a rapidly growing business.

• Prepare the annual budget and rolling forecasts
• Analyze monthly financial performance and support accounting month-end close activities
• Build and maintain weekly and monthly models for key operational and financial performance metrics
• Create and deliver financial presentations to leadership and recommend decisions with financial implications
• Leverage financial modeling and a hypothesis-based approach to identify, validate, and quantify multi-year agreements and long-term savings plans
• Perform ad-hoc analysis on cost-saving opportunities, capital expenditures, and other corporate initiatives, demonstrating critical thinking in complex situations

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• MBA or MS - Finance is a plus, but not required
• 3+ years of experience in an accounting/finance environment, preferably in the telecom or tech industries
