Western Slope In-Home Care provides home care services to Medicaid, VA, LTC insurance, and private pay clients who want to remain independent and live in their own homes.
Caregivers need to live in the NW Colorado area to work with our agency. You can be a part of that mission.
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities
- Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
- Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
- Assist with personal care and hygiene.
- Plan and prepare meals.
- Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to do so successfully.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
- Offer activities essential for daily living, including assisting patients with their meals, serving, and other tasks, if necessary.
Ideal Candidates will:
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Promote personal safety and a safe environment for clients.
- Maintain compliance with agency policies, procedures, and job requirements.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- CNA certification is a plus but not required.
- 2 years of caregiver experience preferred.
Caregivers work in the privacy of each patient’s home, allowing more one-on-one time to get to know your patient and provide quality care. This support also empowers the patient to remain as independent and comfortable as possible at home.

We provide infection control training, PPE training, and a gear bag at orientation.
