* Position is Weekend days. Schedule will be Saturday and Sunday 630a-7p and Monday 6a-630p.

* Additional $6.25/hr. differential on top of base rate for Saturday and Sunday shifts, and Monday from 6-7a.

As an MRI technologist, you will operate MRI scanners, ensure quality images, interview patients, explain procedures, position patients, perform procedures, assess patients, document studies, use critical thinking, train new staff, and maintain knowledge of scanners and exam protocols.

Key responsibilities include:

• Position and prepare patients for exams according to the type of procedure.
• Perform procedures and assess patients throughout, responding to patient needs.
• Complete appropriate documentation for each study performed.
• Use professional discernment and critical thinking when performing procedures.
• Participate in orientation and training of new staff members and teach students during their clinical rotations.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of scanners and exam protocols for highest quality procedures.

• Currently registered as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MR registration) or ARMRIT certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) verification course through AHA or ARC.
• Current registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• One year of experience in an MRI Imaging Department preferred.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
