Systems Engineer, IT Support
Job Summary
Our client is seeking a RF Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Englewood, Colorado.
Duties- Perform simulated outside plant maintenance and repair
- Maintain and repair wires, coax, and fiber from hub sites to customer connection points
- Monitor, locate, report, and remediate signal leakage per company and regulatory standards
- Perform proactive and reactive maintenance
- Oversee inside plant operations and compliance
- Install, configure, and operate legacy and new headend equipment
- Conduct daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly testing and logging per company guidelines
- Ensure cabling, equipment installation, power, and cooling meet corporate standards
- Maintain logs, records, and documentation to comply with company and FCC requirements
- Manage advanced field installations and enterprise support
- Survey, install, configure, and maintain complex network products for large enterprise clients
- Implement large multi-site projects, configure edge devices, and support optical connections
- Collaborate with technical support personnel for advanced troubleshooting
- Perform engineering support and continuous improvement
- Provide engineering and operational support for new and existing technologies
- Create, submit, and implement approved methods of procedure (MOPs) and change requests
- Develop and implement network enhancements and reliability improvements
- Participate in cross-functional collaboration
- Coordinate with peer organizations to ensure optimal network performance
- Communicate clearly with employees, customers, in person, by phone, and in writing
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field
- 3+ years headend technician experience
- Valid course completion from NCTI Fiber Installation and Activation within 6 months
- Certifications such as NCTI Master Technician, HFC Networks, SCTE Business Class Service Specialist, Cisco CCENT or CCNA
- Telecomm install and maintenance experience

The approximate pay range for this position is between $45.00 and $56.00
. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
