RF Engineer

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a RF Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Englewood, Colorado.

• Perform simulated outside plant maintenance and repair
• Maintain and repair wires, coax, and fiber from hub sites to customer connection points
• Monitor, locate, report, and remediate signal leakage per company and regulatory standards
• Perform proactive and reactive maintenance
• Oversee inside plant operations and compliance
• Install, configure, and operate legacy and new headend equipment
• Conduct daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly testing and logging per company guidelines
• Ensure cabling, equipment installation, power, and cooling meet corporate standards
• Maintain logs, records, and documentation to comply with company and FCC requirements
• Manage advanced field installations and enterprise support
• Survey, install, configure, and maintain complex network products for large enterprise clients
• Implement large multi-site projects, configure edge devices, and support optical connections
• Collaborate with technical support personnel for advanced troubleshooting
• Perform engineering support and continuous improvement
• Provide engineering and operational support for new and existing technologies
• Create, submit, and implement approved methods of procedure (MOPs) and change requests
• Develop and implement network enhancements and reliability improvements
• Participate in cross-functional collaboration
• Coordinate with peer organizations to ensure optimal network performance
• Communicate clearly with employees, customers, in person, by phone, and in writing

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field
• 3+ years headend technician experience
• Valid course completion from NCTI Fiber Installation and Activation within 6 months
• Certifications such as NCTI Master Technician, HFC Networks, SCTE Business Class Service Specialist, Cisco CCENT or CCNA
• Telecomm install and maintenance experience

The approximate pay range for this position is between $45.00 and $56.00
. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
