Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO that is seeking a Project Manager.
Summary:
The Specialized Project Manager, known on the Data Platforms Orchestration Services team as the back end integration analyst (BEIA), manages the entire project lifecycle from intake through delivery to production. In this capacity, the BEIA is responsible for performing elements of the roles Technical Analyst, Project Manager, Scrum Master, Agile Coach and Delivery Manager. The BEIA does not occupy every role every day, nor do they need to be an expert or former practitioner of each, but must have facility with the terminology, processes, and practices that these roles are responsible for.
The BEIA must absolutely possess the critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with the roles or their equivalents in other methodologies, sufficient to act as the team's Scrum Master, Project Manager, and Business Analyst on a day-to-day basis. Duties:
- Performs intake in accordance with Data Platforms Orchestration Services team process
- Creates necessary JIRA tickets from provided requirements
- Guides the development team through estimation and sprint planning
- Tracks development deliverables to completion while ensuring project and program teams, as well as the development team's leadership, are kept up to date on project status on an ongoing basis
- Ensures that the engineering team understands, and works on tasks in accordance with, project priority
- Assists the team's manager with determining and managing development team capacity and communicates and tracks progress against committed timelines
- Performs initial triage on issues and questions stakeholder teams may have during UAT testing, as well as answer inquiries around our API logic and data retrieved from upstream systems

- Possess the ability to function on their own with modern office software or learn it quickly enough not to disrupt the team's effectiveness
- Possess the professional decorum to communicate with team members from junior developers through leadership at the senior director and VP level as needed
- To write effective requirements documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, and software test guidelines
- To troubleshoot and investigate software behavior using a browser's included developer tools, Splunk, Datadog, and an API client
- To learn to understand the technologies utilized in the development team's work
- To be able to help members of other teams understand the needs and communications of the software development team
- To be able to help the development team understand the needs and communications of stakeholders and Data Platforms Orchestration Services leadership
- To work to learn and, ideally, master the software tools listed below
