Java Developer

Position: GUI Java Developer

Location:

Duration: 12 months+

• BS or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent
• 2-4 years in architecting large and business critical systems
• 6-8 years of experience in developing, deploying and administering Java/J2EE-based applications
• 6-8 years of GUI/web development experience using Java/J2EE/JSP/Servlet technologies.
• 6-8 years of GUI/web development experience using Web 2.0/AJAX frameworks like JQuery, YUI etc.
• 6-8 years of GUI/web development experience using MVC frameworks like Struts or Spring MVC.
• 3-6 years of experience in SOA/Web Services (SOAP, RESTful using XML and JSON)
• 3-5 years of strong experience with XML, XSLT, XSD, SAX/DOM, JAXB
• 2-4 years of experience in developing applications using RDBMS, SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
• In depth knowledge of Unix environment that includes 4-7 years of experience in shell scripting
• Familiarity with application servers Weblogic and/or JBoss for deployments and administration
• Familiarity with Apache HTTP/Web Server
• Business knowledge and tech
