ResponsibilitiesQuantum is seeking a QA Engineer focused on UI for Storage Management. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, usability, and reliability of user interfaces that manage complex storage systems.
This role blends hands‑on UI testing with deep product understanding across storage management, monitoring, and configuration workflows in distributed systems.
UI Quality & Test Design – Design and execute test cases for web-based storage management user interfaces, validate UI behavior against product requirements and UX designs, and perform exploratory testing to uncover usability issues.
Functional & Integration Testing – Test frontend interactions with backend APIs to ensure accurate data representation, validate UI during system events, and ensure correctness under multi‑user and permission‑driven scenarios.
Automation & Tooling – Develop and maintain UI automation tests for critical workflows, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with automation and QE teams.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Engineering, UX, Product Management, and QE teams to review designs, advocate for testability, and provide clear defect reports.
Quality Ownership – Track and manage UI defects through resolution, verify fixes, deepen understanding of storage management features, and support release qualification.
Qualifications- Required: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Required: 5+ years of QA or test engineering experience focused on UI or frontend testing.
- Required: Experience testing complex systems such as storage, infrastructure, or distributed systems.
- Required: Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools in Agile.
- Required: Willing and able to come into our office in Centennial, CO at least 3x/week (Tuesday – Thursday 10am – 4pm core hours).
- Preferred: Experience with UI automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium.
- Preferred: Experience testing storage management products, monitoring dashboards, or infrastructure control.
- Preferred: Understanding of storage concepts (NAS, SAN, object storage, replication, snapshots, quotas).
- Preferred: Exposure to performance visualization, alerting, or telemetry-driven testing.
- Preferred: Experience with CI/CD systems and automated test integration.
- Preferred: Familiarity with accessibility and usability testing best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and passion for usability.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Clear communicator able to collaborate across engineering, product, and UX.
- Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced evolving environments.

SalaryAnticipated Annual Salary Range: $75,000 – $115,000. Pay within or outside of the range will be based on various factors.
