Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions is looking for a dynamic and visionary Head of Business Optimization, with a deep expertise in Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Automation, and LEAN methodologies to be in Englewood CO or Austin TX. This position involves overseeing the end-to-end optimization of operations within our Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions. The role requires a strategic thinker who can drive innovation and efficiency at every level of our operational processes.

Key

Position Responsibilities:

Strategic Operational Leadership:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for integrating AI, automation, and LEAN principles throughout the organization’s operations.
• Collaborate closely with the COO to align the operational strategy with the overall business objectives.
• Utilize advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis, to uncover patterns, trends, and insights from complex data sets.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor and report on the effectiveness of analytics initiatives.

Data Innovation and Technology Integration:

• Lead the adoption and implementation of cutting-edge AI and automation technologies to streamline and enhance operational processes.
• Design and implement data collection, storage, and analysis processes to ensure the availability of accurate and reliable data for analysis.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the company's analytics capabilities

LEAN Methodology and Continuous Improvement:

• Translate data-driven insights into actionable recommendations and strategies to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and business performance.
• Embed LEAN principles across all operational processes to drive efficiency and reduce waste.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization.
• Create, manage and continuously improve value stream(s) to optimize customer value creation across lines of business.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and opportunities where data analytics can provide valuable insights.
• Engage with various departments to ensure cohesive and effective implementation of process improvements.
• Collaborate with senior management to ensure operational strategies are in line with company goals.

High-Level Management and Team Development:

• Oversee a team of data scientists, process engineers, systems analysts and operational managers, promoting professional development and high performance.
• Encourage a collaborative environment that fosters innovative thinking and problem-solving.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options in Englewood CO or Austin TX. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
