Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesSenior Data Scientist sought by DISH Wireless LLC in Littleton, Colorado.
Responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced analytical models and AI-powered automation frameworks that optimize forecasting accuracy, streamline operations, and drive strategic business outcomes. Design and deploy time‑series forecasting models using Prophet, ARIMA, and LSTM to predict weekly device sales and subscriber activations, enabling demand planning teams to reduce forecast variance. Leverage Snowflake Cortex and AWS Bedrock to build LLM‑powered copilots that enable business analysts to query enterprise data in natural language, accelerating insight generation by reducing dependency on SQL and technical teams.
Architect high‑volume ETL pipelines using Databricks, processing terabytes of sales, shipment, and POS data daily for analytics and model training. Build deep learning‑based forecasting models in Tensor Flow and PyTorch to project device sales, accessories demand, and network activations, achieving improvement in accuracy over legacy methods. Build CI/CD automation for ML pipelines using Git Lab, ensuring seamless deployment of updated models into production environments.
Partner with business stakeholders to create interactive Tableau dashboards that visualize model outputs such as forecast accuracy, store segmentation, and churn probability.
Requires:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field plus 5 years of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience in job offered or as Hadoop Developer, Commercial Quality Assurance, Graduate Assistant, and Big Data Hadoop Developer. Also requires 3 years of experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
- Python, R, Scala, SQL, PySpark, Tensor Flow, PyTorch, Keras, scikit‑learn, MLflow, Lang Chain, XGBoost, Light
GBM, Cat Boost, and Prophet. - AWS (S3, EC2, Glue, Lambda, Sage Maker, Bedrock), Snowflake, Databricks, and Dataiku.
- Spark, and Git Lab CI/CD.
- Tableau, Snowflake Cortex, Google Apps Script
