Open Stack Developer

• Develop and implement new features using the existing code base on Open Stack
• Contribute to installation, migration, updates, and integration of Open Stack services and modules
• Maintain and optimize active projects
• Participate in the development process of new projects
• Document the architecture and components
• Write, maintain, and execute unit tests
• Solid knowledge of Virtualization, Containerization, NFV, Cloud networking, and Linux
• Solid understanding of Open Stack services such as Neutron
• Understanding and experience with Edge deployments
• At least 3 years of experience in Software Engineering & 2 years of experience with Python
• Must have experience in installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Open Stack and CEPH
• Experienced with virtualization, container technologies, and tools such as Libvirt, Docker, Heat, Ironic, OVS, and Ansible
• Demonstrated experience with low-level open-source software optimization including Linux kernel, libraries, file systems, and/or tool chains
• Must be familiar with the concept of software-defined networking, network function virtualization, network acceleration technologies, and the underlay/overlay networking model
• Be familiar with Dev Ops business practices particularly with regards to applying the software development lifecycle to system management (Git, CI/CD, etc.)
