Systems Administrator
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The system administrator provides expert-level support, product management, training, and technical expertise for Google Workspace and Proofpoint. Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in‑person interview.
- Serve as the enterprise subject matter expert for Gmail administration, maintaining advanced knowledge of Google Admin Console configurations, Proofpoint Admin Console, Google Workspace APIs within GCP, and related integrations and automation.
- Provide strategic vision, leadership, training, and mentorship across the enterprise on Gmail functionality, best practices, integrations, and extensions to drive optimal adoption and performance.
- Build strong cross‑functional partnerships with internal departments to ensure efficient, secure, and scalable use of email services across the organization.
- Identify team, department, and enterprise‑level process gaps; recommend and implement improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall email platform performance.
- Manage regulatory documentation and compliance requirements, including audit support, contract negotiations, and annual licensing management.
- Oversee product quality and continuous improvement initiatives by developing usage reporting, monitoring adoption trends, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and driving expansion of Gmail capabilities through integrations and targeted training.
Education and Experience:
- BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Communications – or equivalent experience relevant to the position.
- 2+ years of experience as an email infrastructure administrator (e.g., Gmail, Google Workspace, cloud application or Exchange admin) in a fast‑paced environment.
- Certification in improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, TQM, or PMP preferred.
Skills and
Qualifications:
- Proven communication and influence skills – ability to work broadly across disparate groups to gain agreement on direction, mediate and integrate opinions into a cohesive strategy, and present options/recommendations.
- Enthusiastic and dynamic presentation skills for training to all levels of the enterprise.
- Expert‑level knowledge of Gmail functionality, mail extensions, and integrations.

Compensation and BenefitsCompensation: $72,400.00–$ per year.
