Desktop Support Technician

Our client is looking for someone who brings high energy, a customer-first mindset, and genuine ownership over the end-user experience for a Desktop / Deskside Support Technician. You'll be the face of IT for on-site personnel, handling everything from hardware and software troubleshooting to conference room AV, while contributing to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing team culture.

• Set up, configure, repair, and manage computing hardware, software, networking equipment, and peripherals across the organization
• Provide basic network support to ensure full desktop and peripheral connectivity
• Perform preventative maintenance on computer equipment, conference rooms, and audio-visual systems
• Log, prioritize, track, and resolve IT incidents and service requests through the IT Service Desk system; elevate to upper-tier teams when appropriate
• Respond to requests via phone, ticketing system, and in-person walk-ups with urgency and follow-through
• Support IT department policies, procedures, and documentation efforts for the local site

• Comprehensive troubleshooting skills across industry-standard hardware and software
• Working knowledge of computers, printers, network technology, drivers, and related peripherals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with end users at all technical levels
• A customer care philosophy centered on solution ownership and high satisfaction
• Ability to translate user and business needs into practical technical solutions
• Team-oriented with a capacity for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

Associate's Degree in a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience is desired. Higher education may substitute for experience, and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
