We are looking for a visionary IT Manager to drive innovation within our Manufacturing, Distribution, and In-Home Services divisions.

This role will work side‑by‑side with the Senior IT Manager and Head of Operations to lead a high‑performing squad of Developers, Data Analysts, Product Owners, and Support Specialists, building custom applications that slash costs, boost productivity, and redefine efficiency.

  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of IT projects, ensuring timely, on‑budget, and high‑quality deliverables.
  • Direct the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for our custom application suite, balancing agile speed with rigorous requirements gathering and formal change management.
  • Partner with the Product Owner to prioritize backlogs, manage technical debt, and translate business wants into technical must‑haves.
  • Own the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and production validation; serve as the final gatekeeper for go‑live events, ensuring seamless transitions into production environments.
  • Act as the Customer Success Manager (CSM) between IT and Operations, translating complex technical jargon into actionable business strategies for stakeholders.
  • Lead root cause analysis for critical issues, implementing proactive monitoring and alerting to prevent incidents before they occur.
  • Define bottlenecks across the enterprise, recommending and executing changes to improve quality throughout development and beyond.
Education and Experience
  • BS/BA Degree preferred.
  • MS or MBA is a significant plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct people leadership experience and 2 years of project management experience.
  • Proven experience within Manufacturing or Distribution environments and/or hands‑on experience with Warehouse Management Systems is highly preferred.
Skills and Qualifications
  • World‑class communication skills; able to align executives and warehouse associates around a cohesive strategy.
  • Deliver engaging demos that excite the entire company about our tech, beyond simple updates.
  • Detective mindset capable of troubleshooting complex system integrations with minimal direction.
  • Build bridges between disparate departments, from the loading dock to the C‑suite, to integrate diverse opinions into a winning roadmap.
  • Thrives in a hybrid environment, pivoting between fast‑paced sprint planning and disciplined release management.
  • Comfortable across the full stack (JavaScript, .NET, Python, SQL); can jump into a sprint planning session and provide expert direction on complex application builds.
