National Security Risk Analyst
This role supports organizations, investors and counsel in identifying, assessing and reducing national-security related risk.
Responsibilities- Lead projects involving U.S. international trade and technology security controls, Defense Industrial Base (DIB)-related cybersecurity, and other national security-related compliance and program enhancement projects.
- Assess clients' trade and technology controls compliance posture and conduct assessments of compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, the Export Administration Regulations, and equivalent non-U.S. regulatory regimes.
- Audit, assess, and enhance clients' international trade, technology security, and foreign investment controls risk and compliance posture.
- Develop and refine engagement approaches and project plans in collaboration with team leadership.
- Interface with clients and deliver high-quality work products including compliance programs, policies, procedures, assessments, and reports.
- Build industry-recognized subject-matter expertise in national security, international trade, and foreign investment review areas, keeping pace with relevant regulations and policy, and produce timely thought leadership.
- Design and execute compliance risk mitigation and information security solutions that adapt to client risks across multiple domains.
- Help clients navigate U.S. and allied country Government Security, international trade, technology control, and data security requirements.
- Develop collateral, thought leadership, marketing, and other market-facing projects.
- Lead internal projects and initiatives within the company.
- Bachelor's Degree required;
Advanced Degree strongly preferred, with focus on international trade and investment controls. - Prior experience as a compliance professional and/or national security professional and program leader in a company, professional services firm, or U.S. Government.
- Demonstrated expertise in international trade compliance.
- Excellent research and writing capabilities; ability to independently produce polished work products.
- Proficiency using office productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint).

The amount of vacation and personal days varies by tenure and role type.
The salary range is $130,000 - $175,000 annually, dependent on education, experience, skills, and geography. A&M offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance.
