Sr. AI Engineer/ Lead
Duration:

Greenwood Village, CO
Key Responsibilities:
- 8+ years of experience in machine learning, data science, or AI development
- 8+ years of people management experience, with a proven ability to lead, mentor, and scale high-performing teams
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), including fine-tuning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and agentic frameworks
- Demonstrated success delivering AI/ML models into production environments (industry experience required; research-only backgrounds not preferred)
- Strong technical leadership with the ability to define and drive AI/ML strategy and vision
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams
Required Qualifications
- Experience in call center environments or customer experience analytics
- Telecommunications or cable industry experience
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Front-end or interface experience (e.g., React)
- Experience with sentiment analysis and text analytics
- Knowledge of AI-driven automation tools and frameworks
- Experience with AI model interpretability and explainability (XAI)
- Understanding of data privacy and regulatory considerations related to AI
Additional Technical Expertise (Preferred):
- Graph Analytics:
Leveraging graph-based models to analyze relationships and complex data networks - Advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP):
Building solutions for chatbots, sentiment analysis, and language translation - Explainable AI (XAI):
Creating transparent and interpretable AI systems - Automated Machine Learning (AutoML):
Streamlining model development through automation of feature selection, model selection, and hyperparameter tuning
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree required;
Master's or PhD preferred in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or similar) - 8+ years of professional experience in data, analytics, AI/ML, or software development
- At least 2 years of focused, hands-on experience in AI-specific roles
