POSITION SUMMARY
  • Support, manage, and maintain the Student Information System (SIS), Infinite Campus.
  • Work closely with end-users to develop and provide best practices and training to increase usage and adoption.
  • The ideal candidate is collaborative, an effective communicator, and a critical thinker.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prior experience with School Information Systems (SIS) is required. Work in SQL Databases and Infinite Campus is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of a school district's operational requirements is essential.
  • Strong computer skills with considerable experience in Google G Suite, MS Office (Excel), and data entry.
  • Excellent communication skills, customer service skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently in solving problems.
  • Ability to conduct training and facilitate informational meetings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the SIS team as needed.
  • Manage user accounts, roles/profiles, and permissions for staff, students, and parent portal access.
  • Work with end-users to develop and provide best practices, training, and tips to increase adoption, usage, and troubleshooting.
  • Update and maintain reporting tools, teacher grade book setup, report cards, grading tools, standards, transcripts, academic planner, attendance reports, letters, Ad hocs, and exports.
  • Develop and implement configuration changes and system enhancements based on business requirements while following established development standards and best practices (e.g., creating/updating projects, custom fields, reports, workflows, rules/triggers, email notifications, reports, and dashboards).
  • Coordinate Infinite Campus customization to meet the District's specific needs. This may include working with vendors to support inter-system data scripts/requests or updates.
  • Work with middle and high schools on course registration processes and master schedule development and configuration in IC.
  • Collaborate with Nutrition Services, Business Services, and building administrative assistants on student fee processes and fee waivers.
  • Actively stay updated on new application releases, functionality, add-ons, and best practices, and make recommendations to implement and utilize enhancements for Englewood users.
  • Act as CIC liaison in resolving operational problems and technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with District Administration, School Site Leadership, Teachers, and Building Office Staff.
  • Create/maintain documentation to support the systems and processes.
  • Monitor self-scheduling and make appropriate recommendations/adjustments.
  • Perform regular quality checks on student transcripts, posting final grades from summer sessions, out-of-district enrollments, and specialized programs.
  • Create systems and process documentation for graduation requirement waivers (e.g., GED, physical education) and specialized completions on student transcript files.
  • Extract critical data subsets for specialized student categories, tracking indicators like McKinney-Vento status, foster care history, CTE program participation, fee balances, and outstanding graduation proficiencies.
  • Build, align, and sync schedules, rosters, and grades for alternative pathways including Concurrent Enrollment (CE), Career and Technical Education (CTE), and GED programming
  • Set up and manage complex projects to accurately document student progress toward graduation, college credit completion, and industry-recognized credentials.
  • Apply and implement knowledge, skills, and new understandings to support systems and processes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in computer science or other technology-related fields, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
