This school year, ACE is serving approximately 16,000+ children in Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming, and is actively pursuing other expansion opportunities with the support of national funding partners.

Position Overview
The Business System Analyst will be responsible for business activities in support of our systems strategy. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that software, systems, and processes align with strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of business operations, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business insights.
Primary Job duties and responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories for development teams.
- Work closely with software engineers, QA teams, and product managers to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
- Conduct gap analyses, process mapping, and workflow optimization.
- Support system integration, data migration, and implementation activities.
- Develop and maintain documentation including business requirements, technical specifications, and process flows.
- Facilitate communication between business units and IT teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation support.
- Configure software and assist in supporting operation teams

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge and passion for school choice and ACE Scholarship's mission
- Experience in program project implementation including SDLC, Agile, and Project management
- Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite, high comfort level with cloud SaaS platforms, preferably hands on experience with Service Now CSM, ITBM, ITSM
- Experience with AWS (Lambda, Connect, Lex) preferred
- Experience managing data and reporting including dashboards and Analytics
- Previous experience in Customer Service or Call centers preferred
