Spectrum Internship Experience
At a Glance
You're a motivated student with a current 3.0 GPA or higher currently pursuing a degree in one of the following areas from an accredited college or university:
Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology.
This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship designed to give you real-world experience and meaningful exposure to the telecommunications industry in your chosen field. Internship program runs from May 26 through August 6, 2027. In addition to role-specific projects, you'll take part in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship and experiences that help you grow personally and professionally.

What you can expect in this role
As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams: your respective department and your intern cohort. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on internship experiences that include a kickoff conference, professional development sessions and networking activities, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations. This experience is designed to help you explore your interests, expand your network and leave with a deeper understanding of both your field and the impact of our business.
Internship responsibilities may include:
- The CI/CD Pipeline team builds and maintains the automation that builds infrastructure in AWS and also manages Application Deployments. This role will help build new features and standards in the pipelines.
- The individual that fills this role will be working as a Dev Ops Engineer as a member of the team that maintains the pipeline code. There will be opportunities to enhance your knowledge of Amazon AWS, Terraform, EKS, RESTful Web Services, and Docker.
Required qualifications
- Must be a rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor's degree
- Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
- Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment Pipeline Engineer - Terraform (We can train the required skills)
