Director, Global Supplier Management

Arrow Electronics is seeking a Director, Global Supplier Management to lead strategic supplier relationships and sourcing across our wholesale technology distribution network. This role develops global category strategies, negotiates complex contracts, and drives cost, quality, and delivery performance with key suppliers. You will lead a high-performing team, implement supplier performance metrics, mitigate supply risk, and partner with sales, operations, and finance to align supply capabilities with customer and business goals in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global supplier and category strategies for electronic components and solutions
• Negotiate complex, high-value contracts and commercial terms with strategic suppliers
• Lead and mentor a global supplier management team to achieve performance and cost targets
• Establish and track KPIs for supplier performance, quality, delivery, and cost
• Drive cost optimization, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Identify and mitigate supply, quality, and geopolitical risks across the supplier base
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance to align supply plans with business needs
• Support new product introductions and technology roadmaps through supplier partnerships
