Salary Range: $18.37 - $26.45

Hiring Range: $18.37 - $22.41

Schedule: Typical schedules are in-office Monday through Friday, but could be adjusted based on the needs of the position (i.e. Tuesday through Saturday, Wednesday through Sunday, etc.)

Relocation: This position is located in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Relocation assistance is not provided.

About the Role

As a Facilities Services Worker, you’ll play a vital role in keeping Greenwood Village buildings, parks, and public spaces clean, safe, and welcoming. This position involves a mix of cleaning, maintenance, and repair tasks, as well as supporting special events and snow/ice control activities. Essential

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain City buildings, restrooms, shelters, and picnic areas.
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on doors, locks, lights, and equipment.
  • Stock and replenish supplies in restrooms and offices.
  • Assist with snow and ice removal during winter months.
  • Support special projects and events, including setup and takedown.
  • Operate equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, pressure washers, and vehicles.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Knowledge of basic cleaning and maintenance methods.
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 100 lbs.
Education & Experience
  • No experience required. One year of experience in facility maintenance preferred. Equivalent to the achievement of a High School Diploma or G.E.D or any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities to qualify.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid Colorado driver's license, in accordance with Colorado law, and a driving record satisfactory to obtain coverage by the City’s insurance carrier.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, CCIC/NCIC Certification through the Colorado Bureau of Investigation within 6 months of hire.
Working Conditions
  • Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to a variety of adverse weather conditions, odors, and other potentially hazardous environmental conditions.
  • Will need to work professionally with City staff and general public for purposes of completing assignments.
  • Will work with a variety of light and heavy‑duty equipment to complete assigned tasks.
  • This position may involve working a variety of schedules, including evenings and weekends and may be subject to work beyond normal scheduled hours.
