Overview
The Golf Operations Supervisor provides day-to-day leadership and operational support for all aspects of the Broken Tee Golf Course facility, including the Championship Course (18 holes), Par 3 Course (9 holes), driving range and practice areas, Pro Shop, and clubhouse. This position supervises part-time and seasonal inside and outside service staff to ensure exceptional guest service, efficient operations, and compliance with facility policies and procedures.
The Golf Operations Supervisor oversees golf management and point-of-sale systems, monitors pace of play, supports financial controls, and provides on-duty leadership during operating hours and emergency situations. The facility operates seven days a week from sunrise to sunset; this position requires availability on weekdays, weekends, holidays, and varied hours.
Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience. Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience. Golf operations experience is highly preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant job experience may be substituted.
EducationBachelor's degree in Recreation, Business Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience in golf operations, hospitality, or facility management.
Work Experience- Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience
- Golf operations experience is highly preferred
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (must be obtained within an agreed-upon timeframe and maintained)
- Valid Colorado driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle

- Serves as a member of the Golf Division leadership team; participates in the development and implementation of division goals, policies, and procedures.
- Assists the Golf Manager with budget awareness, financial planning, and performance reporting; makes informed purchasing decisions, monitors spending, and supports revenue generation efforts.
- Supervises assigned staff to ensure high-quality guest service and operational efficiency; participates in hiring by recommending candidates, provides training, schedules staff, and evaluates performance.
- Monitors and reviews employee attendance and timesheets for accuracy.
- Oversees the effective use of golf management and business software systems, including point-of-sale, tee sheets, inventory, customer database, driving range systems, time and attendance, pace-of-play tools, and accounts payable.
- Reconciles daily cash deposits and maintains accurate financial records.
- Handles basic software and hardware issues and collaborates with IT or vendors to troubleshoot more complex technology problems.
- Generates reports and maintains records as requested.
- Provides excellent guest service by responding to inquiries regarding course operations, policies, procedures, and programs; resolves guest concerns and conflicts professionally.
- Oversees daily inside and outside service operations, including guest check-in, pace-of-play monitoring, driving range operations, and golf cart fleet utilization and maintenance.
- Enforces facility rules, policies, and procedures consistently.
- Provides on-duty leadership during emergencies, weather events, and safety incidents; ensures staff follow established safety, emergency, and security procedures.
- Provides coverage for inside and outside service positions as needed during peak periods, staff absences, or special events.
- Assists with evening and weekend supervision.
- Plans and coordinates golf programs, tournaments, and special events.
- Participates in departmental software planning and implementation projects as assigned.
