AP Supervisor

Position Purpose

Responsible for overseeing the Accounts Payable (AP) invoice production or non‑production team to include managing overall day‑to‑day operations and department associates, and for handling the processing of relevant invoice data entry within a Shared Services centralized, high‑volume AP environment supporting multiple U.S. locations. Includes, but is not limited to, managing issue resolution, vendor statement analysis, disbursements, and GR/IR analysis (Goods Received/Invoice Received).

Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.

• Supervises associates, including but not limited to staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and problem resolution.
• Monitors workflow queues.
• Researches and resolves issues that prevent invoices from being processed.
• Ensures relevant AP metrics are achieved or exceeded; executes and monitors key metrics to measure departmental performance; plans and directs process improvement initiatives; ensures compliance with written policies and procedures.
• Manages production or non‑production invoice processes.
• Fosters a strong customer‑service relationship with OpCo staff, Corporate, and vendors in the shared‑service environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

• Accounts Payable experience within a highly automated environment.
• Knowledge, expertise or significant exposure to a major ERP application (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Lawson, People Soft).
• Team lead or supervisory experience in Accounts Payable or accounting in a Shared Service or high‑transaction volume environment, preferred.

$65,000–$75,000 plus bonus.
