Shipping & Receiving Specialist

Hourly Range: $21 - $23

The Void Form Products, LLC Shipping and Receiving Specialist is responsible for the shipping and receiving of non-hazardous materials, products and specialty products within the warehouse. The Shipping and Receiving Specialist will primarily operate a forklift to load, unload, and move specific products. They are responsible for inventory, maintenance, and occasional housekeeping tasks. They count products, document deliveries, and submit accurate work tickets detailing completion.

This position requires the ability to read job sheets, accurately count both raw materials and finished goods, and utilize warehouse space to maximize finished goods inventory.

• Read work tickets, count finished products, and submit completed tickets to the production manager.
• Load and unload inventory from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage and production areas.
• Ensure that all incoming deliveries match company purchase orders.
• Operate the forklift safely; comply with safety guidelines and regulations.
• Report defective or damaged machinery and perform a general inspection of machinery before use.
• Store machinery in a designated location at the end of the shift.
• Properly maintain equipment and technology provided.
• Maintain an active and valid forklift certification.
• Be able to drive in tight spaces to pick up loaded pallets.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on experience, skills and business needs.

  HS Diploma or equivalent
• Required:
  
  Certified Forklift Operator – current/in good standing
• Preferred:
  Associate, Vocational or Technical Degree

• Ability to think critically and respond quickly by adjusting initiatives and priorities accordingly.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, tight deadline, high-noise manufacturing environment.
• Ability to manage time effectively to meet objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to meet Void Form behavioral standards and values.

• Ability to work and withstand extreme temperatures during high seasons.
• Ability to walk for periods of time in the warehouse.
• Ability to sit for an extended period daily in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Periods of standing, walking, rotating the body, bending and/or squatting.
• Lifting up to 70 pounds.
• Clothing and footwear should be appropriate for a warehouse environment. No baggy clothing. Closed shoes must be worn. Long hair must be tied up.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal to high stress volumes.
