Job DescriptionThe sheet metal apprentice will be responsible to support our fabrication team in the sanding, finishing, and shipping of our products. The sheet metal apprentice will be responsible for cleaning and organizing equipment and the facility. This role reports to our shop foreman and the appropriate shift supervisor.
Responsibilities- Prepare and move metal materials in the shop
- Operate sanding and grinding equipment
- Operate hardware installation machines
- Clean warehouse space and equipment
- Pack finished products on pallets for customer delivery
- Load and unload metal products onto and off of trucks
- Hard-working and humble personality
- Ability to work under pressure
- Commitment to solving problems and finding solutions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for eight hours per day
- Ability to pass a drug test and commit to a drug and substance-free environment
- Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train team members on our machinery
- Beneficial experience: manufacturing experience, forklift certification, hardware installation, comfort with machinery and tools including press brakes, punches, grinders, and saws
- Compensation dependent on experience, starting at $18.00 per hour, plus possible overtime and possible profit sharing bonuses

- Hours:
Full-time, 7:00 AM – 3:30PM, Monday through Friday - No relocation or remote candidates will be considered.
