The estimated base salary range for this role is “$68,000 to $88,000” per year.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Supervisor leads daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production that meets customer expectations. This role oversees the entire production process—from raw material receipt to finished goods—while driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, service, and cost. The Production Supervisor fosters a culture of accountability and problem solving, and collaborates cross-functionally with EH&S, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.
By implementing effective systems and building strong relationships with employees, vendors, and customers, the Production Supervisor ensures operational excellence and supports strategic business goals.

- Owns accountability for safety, quality, service, and cost in manufacturing operations.
- Promotes and models safe work practices and environmental responsibility.
- Leads and supports safety initiatives in partnership with EH&S.
- Ensures employees receive proper training and support for safe and efficient production.
- Oversees all stages of production to meet internal and external customer requirements.
- Drives initiatives to improve product quality, customer satisfaction, and service.
- Implements systems for continuous improvement in quality and service.
- Builds strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and team members.
- Sets performance expectations and ensures team accountability.
- Resolves production and personnel issues promptly and effectively.
- Develops Team Leads to manage daily operations independently.
- Uses systems to monitor performance, enhance communication, and support success.
- Fosters a problem-solving culture alongside the Plant Manager.
- Coaches others to pursue excellence and align with plant and corporate goals.
- Communicates business needs and evolving performance expectations clearly.
- Recommends staffing and workflow changes to meet business demands.
- Collaborates with Supply Chain to manage schedules, materials, and vendor coordination.
- Supervises Team Leads, and hourly production staff.
- Manages work assignments, schedules, and timekeeping.
- Supports production activities including new product development, capital projects, and quality assurance.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or production management.
- Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in production planning and scheduling tools.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and timekeeping software.
- Knowledge of supply chain coordination and vendor management.
- Excellent leadership and team development skills.
