For our client, we are seeking a Sr Director, Production Operations - Satellite and Spacecrafts to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.
This leader will own end-to-end production operations for satellite and spacecraft programs across multiple sites, with a focus on scaling manufacturing from development through repeatable high-rate production. The role will drive standardization, operational discipline, and capacity planning across facilities while improving time, cost, quality, and efficiency. This is a highly cross-functional leadership position with direct influence on internal manufacturing capability, site consolidation, and enterprise operating metrics.

Compensation: $216,886 – $298,217 annually
Responsibilities- Own manufacturing, assembly, integration, and test operations for satellite and spacecraft product lines across multiple production sites
- Develop and execute production strategies to scale satellite and spacecraft manufacturing from development programs into repeatable, high-rate production
- Standardize production processes, workflows, and operating systems across multiple facilities
- Lead capacity planning, facility buildout, and consolidation efforts for production operations
- Drive vertical integration initiatives by maturing internal manufacturing capabilities
- Select, implement, and mature manufacturing execution systems (MES) to support operational efficiency and real-time decision-making
- Establish and maintain enterprise production operating metrics focused on time, cost, quality, and efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
- 12+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, integration, or operations roles in complex technical industries, with a significant portion in senior leadership positions managing large teams and multi-site operations
- Active Top Secret Clearance or ability to attain TS
- Proven track record of successfully leading satellite, spacecraft, or complex aerospace system production operations at scale
- Strong background in satellite and spacecraft assembly, integration, and test (AIT) operations, and operational execution for complex electromechanical and aerospace systems
- Demonstrated experience scaling production operations from development programs into repeatable, high-rate manufacturing across multiple product lines or facilities
