A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

• Administer nursing care to ill or injured persons by assisting in caring for patients by giving direct care
• Coordinate and deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients hospitalized for treatment of substance abuse, dual diagnosis, or psychiatric or emotional disorders
• Assume direct responsibility for observation, delegation, and leadership of the unit staff and patients
• Serve actively and constructively as a member of the multi‑disciplinary team, supporting the organization, program, and unit philosophy of care
• Ensure the safety and well‑being of each patient
• Ensure all medical orders are followed, initiate and follow treatment planning, and act as a patient advocate at all times

• Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing, valid driver’s license preferred
• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required
• Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred
• Basic Life Support certification and Handle with Care (HWC) within 30 days
• 1 year of experience
• May be required to work flexible hours

3x12 Nights (7 p‑7 a) + rotating weekends/every 3rd weekend/every weekend + on call, holidays, etc. (i.e. 3x12, Nights (7 p‑7 a), rotating weekends)

Pay range for this position is $39.15–$52.85 p/hr
