Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Neuro Med/Surg)

Englewood, Colorado

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Projected Start: 06/29/2026

• Provide direct patient care on a 38-bed Neuro Med/Surg unit with a 4–5:1 RN-to-patient ratio on day shift
• Perform NIH stroke assessments, neuro assessments, and fall risk assessments
• Manage and monitor patients requiring IV pumps, seizure monitoring, BiPAP, CPAP, and glucometer use
• Provide trach care and feeding tube management as indicated by patient needs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses and patient care technicians to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
• Apply Neuro Clinical Practice Guidelines for stroke (AANN) in daily practice

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado or through compact licensure
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to multi-task, think critically, and take initiative in a fast-paced neuro environment

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Prior neuro nursing experience
• Experience with Meditech EMR

• Work alongside an experienced and collaborative nursing team on a specialized Neuro Med/Surg unit with dedicated charge nurses and strong staff support
