Description
At UCHealth, the Heart and Vascular Team in Highlands Ranch, CO, is seeking a bright, hard‑working Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their cardiology practice. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, empathetic, patient‑focused, and interested in working full‑time.
Required Qualifications- 2–3 years of cardiology experience.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to change.
- Family Nurse Practitioner candidates must have full prescriptive authority.
- Master’s degree in physician assistant studies.
- Unrestricted license to practice PA in Colorado.
- Physician Assistant Certification (PA‑C) issued by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications.
- Eligibility to provide reimbursable services and maintain Medicare/Medicaid provider status.
- Eligibility to provide services with no sanctions or exclusion from HHS/OIG or GSA excluded parties list.
- Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate privileges.
- Prescriptive authority per medical staff privileging process.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Master’s degree in nursing and graduate of an accredited NP program.
- National certification (ANCC or AANPCB) issued and maintained.
- Unrestricted NP license issued by the State Board of Nursing in the state of practice or compact privileges.
- Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate privileges.
Full prescriptive authority. - Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications.
- Eligibility to provide reimbursable services and maintain Medicare/Medicaid provider status.
- Eligibility to provide services with no sanctions or exclusion from HHS/OIG or GSA excluded parties list.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Competitive compensation: $115,000–$150,000 annually, plus potential quality/productivity bonus.
