Position Summary
UCHealth is recruiting a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for the Heart and Vascular Team in Highlands Ranch, CO. The candidate will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care as part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving patient lives.
Eligibility Requirements- 2-3 years experience in Cardiology.
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork, autonomy, and adaptability.
- Full prescriptive authority for Family Nurse Practitioner candidates.
- Not eligible to support visa candidates.
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Colorado.
- PA‑C certification from the NCCPA (required for hire and must be maintained).
- Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in practice.
- Eligibility to provide services reimbursable to Medicare and Medicaid, with no sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA.
- Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges.
- Prescriptive authority as appropriate per medical‑staff privileging.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- Master’s degree in nursing and graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- NP certification from the ANCC or AANPCB (required for hire and must be maintained).
- Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State Board of Nursing or compact privileges under the multi‑state Nurse Licensure Compact.
- Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges.
- Full prescriptive authority.
- Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in practice.
- Eligibility to provide services reimbursable to Medicare and Medicaid, with no sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
- Competitive salary: $115,000 – $150,000 annually, with quality and/or productivity bonuses possible.
