Description:
This position is for a Rapid Response Nurse.
The role requires a minimum of 6 weeks commitment.
Guaranteed hours are 48 per week.
Candidates are expected to be adaptable and able to cope with a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented individuals who are compassionate and flexible will be a good fit.
Typical patient ratios are 5:1.
Standard procedures include post-op assessments and care.
Responsibilities involve post-prostatectomy care and post-hysterectomy care.
Pain management tasks such as PCA and epidural administration are included.
Foley catheter maintenance will also be part of the duties.
Candidates with GYN/Oncology and Urology experience are preferred.
This unit comprises 24 beds and operates with a combination of nurses, charge nurses, and techs.
No special scheduling or requests for time off will be accommodated after accepting the position.
